Modupe and Ibukun - Nurturing Dreams at The Cuddlers
Modupe and Ibukun, the dynamic husband-and-wife team behind The Cuddlers, embarked on a journey borne out of compassion and a desire to create a safe haven for children. Their story is one of dedication, resilience, and a profound love for nurturing young minds.
A Safe Haven in Abeokuta
In 2015, Modupe and Ibukun founded The Cuddlers, a daycare centre situated in the bustling city of Abeokuta.
Their vision was simple yet profound: to create a nurturing environment where parents and guardians could drop off their little ones with peace of mind, knowing they were in caring hands.
The daycare was strategically located to provide convenience to working families, reducing the hassles of daily commutes.
A Strong Educational Foundation
Both Modupe and Ibukun bring rich educational backgrounds to their venture. Modupe holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), and Ibukun holds a National Certificate of Education (NCE). They both have years of experience teaching in the classroom, instilling a love for learning and development
Beyond Education
While their educational backgrounds are rooted in pedagogy (the method and practice of teaching), Modupe holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and Ibukun holds a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics. Their diverse academic backgrounds underscore their commitment to holistic child development.
A Cherished Family
Modupe and Ibukun’s dedication extends beyond their daycare; they are parents to four beautiful children – Anne, Anthony, Antonia, and Annabelle. Their own experiences as parents further fuel their passion for providing exceptional care and early childhood education.

Medical Care
The First Aid Box in the crèche is handy and will play a stop gap role in case of emergency. This day care places a premium on health status of all children and will strive to ensure that the children are in perfect health condition at all times.
Good Hygiene
The minders observe good hand washing habits. Hand washing is required after change of diapers, use of the bathroom and food handling. Paper towels, sanitizer and hand wash are made available at all times in the crèche.
Supervision
All children at the crèche are under direct supervision at all times. They are checked on throughout their sleeping hours, and also guided through all their acticvities.
